One or more hydraulic piston cylinder units (17,18) are provided between the foundation (1) and bed (2). An anchor screw (13) fixed in the foundation tensions the bed against the foundation by a nut (26) over a collar (25) of a flanged bush (24,25). The flanged bush is mounted with great play in a bore in the bed and is supported on the bed by the collar (25). It can be lifted by the piston cylinder unit. A height adjustment device (14) is set between foundation and bed.
