The roller blind device has the blind wound out from a winding roller to be stretched under the transparent roof. The stretched blind (9) is caught at a longitudinal spacing from the winding roller (8). The rod stretches across the width of the blind and is fixed under the roof panel (5). The roof panel may bulge upwards between the winding roller and the closing edge (11). The rod element (14) is offset upwards to be held under the roof panel so that the stretched blind is taken closer to the roof than its stretching plane in the vicinity of the rod element.
