Telescoping drawer system with three rails

All three telescoping guide rails (13,14,15) come in U-section so the legs (22) of the third rail (15) reach in between those (19,20) of first and second rails (13,14). The legs (22) contact those of the first and second rails via respective interposed balls (16) and the crosspiece (21) joining the two legs of the first and second rails respectively are fixed to the main drawer body (10) so that the weight of the drawer (11,12) acts at right angles on the inner and outer surfaces of the legs of all three rails. The rails are bent into shape by rollers from thick sheet, with the first and second rails identical in section and facing one another in mirror fashion. All rails are grooved inside and out so a roller (17) can ride between them (13,14).
