Gear reducer comprising eccentrics based on an internal gear meshing with an external gear, the difference in the number of teeth between said internal gear and said external gear being from two to four teeth, the gear reducer therefore including a low speed hub (1) fitted with a circular rib (4) whose periphery is rigidly connected to an internal gear (5) meshing with an external gear (8) integral with a reaction arm (14) passing next to the internal gear (5). Said reaction arm (14) includes diametrically opposite protuberances (19, 20), each receiving directly or through a sliding block (61) the outer ring of eccentric bearings (23, 24) causing the reaction arm and thus the external gear (8) to oscillate. The eccentric bearings (23, 24) are located on the outside of the internal gear (5) and are mounted on eccentric shafts (27, 28), their bearings being in the walls (10, 11) of the gear reducer housing. The eccentric shafts (27, 28) are synchronously and simultaneously driven by primary gear reducers composed in a known manner of spur (33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38), level or worm (56, 57) gears, said primary gear reducers being driven by a single, common input shaft (59).
