Valve arrangement e.g. in cannula or catheter, is provided in a connecting piece (10) with plastic upper (11) and lower (12) parts, to which flange-like plug parts (13,14) are welded. Coaxial passages in the connecting piece form a throughflow channel (15) at both ends. The valve consists of a circular valve flap (20), connected to an outer ring (22) by an elastic radial tongue (21). In its closed position, it bears against a ring-shaped supporting face (26). The valve flap is pivoted on the radial tongue by a sliding member, which may be the outer cone of a connector or a syringe.
