A drill primarily intended for ejector drilling is made of one single piece, in order to avoid unroundness that arises when welding and to avoid weld joint gaps in which a chip may easily get wedged. Moreover, the drill is provided with a turned-out chip space (13) in order to as far as possible avoid chip jamming. The inserts are preferably placed tangentially, which simplifies their mounting. In principle, the inserts are semi-circle formed and this simplifies both their pressing and the making of the insert pockets.
