A process for controlled transport of concentrated fibre pulp (S) from a space (1) under overpressure into another space (2) where pressure is at least 0.2 bar lower uses a supply appts. (3) to extrude pulp. Here the supply appts. comprises supply zone (5) and adjacent stuffing zone (6) at the end of which is an exit where a sealing body (4) is pushed against the emerging pulp with such force (F) that the two spaces are extensively sealed off from one another by the fibre pulp plug (11) formed in the stuffing zone and that the exit forms a surface (S') for pulp passage. Also claimed is a conveyer to implement the process comprising an enclosed housing (8) with filler (9), circular exit and, within a motor-driven rotating supply screw (7) whose supply element ends at least 0.1 m, pref. 2 m max., before the exit. The sealing body (4) is conical or a truncated cone shape of increasing dia. in the flow direction.
