The multi-storey transverse shifting type automatic park is suited for a multi-storey parking building. Each floor of the building is divided into at least one row of equal blocks, each row of equal blocks being formed with an elevator passage way centrally located and at least two parks on the opposite sides of the elevator passage way. At least one lifting gear frame is installed in the elevator passage way and is driven horizontally from one row to another with a lifting gear mainframe which includes a mother elevator driven vertically and a multi-storey daughter elevator driven to move vertically in the mother elevator.
