Self locking male and female locking connectors

The locking connector has a male and female half. The female connector (1) has a main body with a set of bolt holes (4,5,7,8) between which is a dovetail recess (2) which has a thin base (3). The recess has is of a rounded dovetail form with two legs which project toward each other to a distance smaller than the head. The male half is shaped as a mirror image of the female half and both have a matching sloping face to the dovetail form recess or lug. This produces an axially solid joint which can only be broken by a perpendicular relative motion prohibited by bolts.
