INK PAD ASSEMBLIES WITH INTERCHANGEABLE INK-IMPREGNATED PADS

This invention is a multicolored ink pad assembly (20) with end user configuration pad/plate assemblies (26a)-(26c). The pad/plate assemblies (26a)-(26c) comprise an absorbent pad (28) impregnated with ink attached to a rigid mounting plate (30). Attachment means (60a)-(60c) are provided which engage the mounting plate (30) to attach the pad/plate assemblies (26a)-(26c) onto a base (22) such that the user may manually remove and reattach the pad/plate assemblies(26a)- (26c) to the base (22) in any number of configurations. The end user thus has tremendous flexibility in constructing a multicolored inking surface.
