Flexible, heat-resistant plastic cable sheathing

Plastic cable sheathing (17-23) has at least one inner wound sheath (19) of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and at least one outer sheath (21) of perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), fluorinated ethylenepropylene (FEP), ethylenetetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) or ethylenechlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE) wound onto (19). (See Fig. 1). Also claimed is an electric cable with a sheath as above.
