Folding device for printing press

The folding device (1) is for a press with one folding cylinder (2) with controllable grip projections (4) and another (3) with controllable grips. The second cylinder is connection with the grip projections (6) which carry the stamps (5) on the back (5') has additional controllable grips (13) by which the rear end (14) of the stamp (5) is pressed against the circumference of this cylinder. The grip (13) for pressing on the rear end (14) of the stamp consists of a spring steel rod against a resting point connected to a transverse tube on a turning shaft. There may be a holder which can be set relative to the second cylinder. The holder may have a layer of elastic material on its side facing the front side of the grip.
