Receiving teletext data transmitted in TV signal and repeated in one or more cycles

The teletext data are separated from the television component in the first step. Then the data belonging to each teletext page are collected and the pages stored in a memory. Lists are made and evaluated, since they show which pages are available and actually present. If the required page is absent from the memory, an estimate is made of the waiting time by discovering how many pages there are between the page in question and the one just appearing in the cycle.
