The element has a front panel, reflector and edge-strip (18), which are formed integrally from an at least partly transparent material, especially a plastic such as acrylic glass or similar. The reflector is preferably metallic, and has a frame (20) connected to the strip. The frame carries a pressed film lamination (22) on one side, which is opposite the viewer, and which is covered by an at least partly transparent material. The reflector frame may be connected to the front side of the strip, with the film on the rear side of the frame. The frame may also be connected to the rear side of the strip, with the film on the front side.
