The roll can be brought into contact with the pressure plate of a printing form cylinder (5) and a dosing roll. The setting point (8) of the turning lever (7) is on the elongated connecting line between the middle points (10,11) of the axes of the dosing roll and the moisture distribution roll in position against the printing form (4) of the printing form cylinder. The setting point of the lever may be on the extended connecting line of the axis middle points in the direction of the printing form cylinder. The connecting line intersects with the theoretical extension of the circumferential line of the printing form cylinder in the axial direction of the pressure form cylinder.
