Base plate for transporting, offering and cultivating plants in pots

Plant pots are transported and plants are cultivated in an arrangement of a plastic base plate (10) with at least one receptacle (12) for plant pots. Each receptacle has a cross section transverse to the base plate with tapers and plant pots of different widths can be inserted from either side. The base plate has at least one straight line, T-shaped, double-T shaped etc. ridge (26) with cavities open at one side and a through passage, so that liquid poured on the underside of the base plate can pass through. Base plate material can be reinforced with glass, mineral, C or ceramic fibres.
