<p>For the mounting of a wall cladding plate (10) to a wall (12), the carrier (18) defines an insertion opening (28) open to the top together with the lower structure (14) for the plate holder (20). The holder (20) has a projecting plate section (30) above the insertion opening (28), which is bonded to the wall cladding plate (10) by a double-sided adhesive strip (32) and at least one adhesive beading (34) extending beyond the adhesive strip (30) which is initially a paste before hardening. Also claimed is a mounting procedure where the plate holders (20) are inserted loosely in the insertion openings (28) of the carriers (18), which a projecting section (30) fitted with a double-sided adhesive strip, a paste adhesive beading (34) is applied, extending over the adhesive strip (32), the cladding plate (10) is laid to float against the adhesive beading (34) and pressure is applied to bring the adhesive and adhesive strip together and the adhesive (34) is hardened by air or moisture. Pref. the adhesive is of polyurethane. The cladding plates (10) are of high pressure laminates, ceramics, metal, stone, plastics or wood.</p> |
