The invention concerns a sinker comprising a shell 1 and a core material. Such arrangements are used, inter alia, in fishing. It is already known to manufacture such sinkers from lead. However, these are damaging to health and constitute an environmental hazard. The present invention makes available a sinker which is not damaging to the environment, has good weight characteristics and a robust structure, and permits easy handling. The core material comprises a loosely distributed granular and/or pulverulent heavy material 2 which is mixed with a filler for filling the intermediate spaces. <IMAGE> |
