Automatic system for processing payment collections and documents of value. The purpose of this is to enable the payment of bills and the contracting of various services enabling payment by means of cheque, card or by personal identification using a fingerprint detector 22; capable of being used by a blind person through a microphone 24 and loudspeaker 25 connected to an electrical signal analysis circuit 23 included in a microcomputer 1. It also functions as an automatic cash dispenser. The microprocessor 1 is connected to a bar code reader 7, which may be an optical character or magnetic strip reader for reading bills or documents of value. This is connected to a banknote reader 8, to a banknote dispenser 10, to a coin reader 9, to a coin dispenser 11, and to an ISO card dispenser 13 for selling documents of value and enabling payment and effective collection. <IMAGE>
