Coin storage and counting accessory for recreational machines. Intended for machines from which cash prizes are supplied and which have for this purpose a coin collecting tray 11, in which displays 1 are generally used showing at the end of each play a combination of symbols capable of winning a prize, the accessory constitutes for the machine what may be termed a bank, moneybox or coin store, taking the form of a box 12, in which another coin selector 13 is fitted, with its corresponding front indicator 14 enabling the player to insert as many coins as he wishes, brought separately to the machine or obtained as prizes from it, so that such coins are suitably stored, protected and counted by the machine when the player does not wish to use them, either for withdrawing them and taking them away, by actually pressing a push-button 15 set in the same box 12, or for transferring them completely or partially to the machine's credit counter 5, by pressing another pushbutton 15'. <IMAGE>
