The invention relates to a veterinary therapeutic or dietetic composition to be administered orally, comprising (% by weight): from 1 to 15 % of a hydrocolloïde, from 15 to 70 % of a C2 to C12 polyol, from 0.1 to 10 % of an active principle, optionally stabilizers, aromas, preservatives and water, q.s.p. 100 %, in the form of a gel having an elasticity modulus (E') from 10<4> to 5.10<6> Pa at 20 DEG C and a dissipation modulus (E") from 10<3> to 10<5> Pa at 20 DEG C.
