An automobile anti-theft arrangement by locking the floormounted gearshift lever to a fixed position, including a sturdy bar rigidly secured to at least one foot of the front seat in the automobile, a solid lock case fixedly mounted onto the said bar, a separable hardened U-shaped shackle with special-designed grooves adapted to be locked into the said lock case by enclosing the gearshift lever, and a shackle box mounted onto the said bar and the said lock case adapted to store the said U-shaped shackle in the unlocked situation.
