The box or case consists of a rectangular, prismatic body (1) of cardboard or plastics, and incorporating a transparent panel (2) covering part of the box front, top and sides. The transparent panel is preferably in one piece; it can be detached and set in front of the box to convert it into a display stand or, left in place as part of the box, allows the contents to be viewed without opening. The upper part (5) of the box not forming part of the transparent panel can be opened by means of a hinge (7) along the back.
