Joint fermentation of solid biological wastes with liq. non-fermented substrates

Process for jointly fermenting solid biological wastes together with liquid non-fermented substrates is claimed. The novelty is that the solid biological wastes first pass through a sorting process in which they are reduced to a chopped coarse mass. The solid biological particles are then fermented together with non-fermented liquid before they are further reduced in particle size and converted to a suspension. This mixt. is then held in a tank and dosed into the non-fermented substrate of a liquid-fermentation plant, in which they are jointly fermented to an end-product.
