The container/dispenser consists of a housing with a main chamber (3) divided into two by a freely-moving piston (4) and in communication with a secondary chamber (7) via a suction channel containing a non-return valve (9). The secondary chamber has a freely-sliding piston (16) with a push-button (17) which projects from the housing, and is connected via a channel with a non-return valve to an outlet (2). When the push-button is pressed, the substance contained in the secondary chamber is expelled through the outlet by the piston (16). When the push-button is released the piston is returned to its initial position by a spring (15) and a fresh dose of the product is drawn into the secondary chamber through non-return valve (13), while the outlet channel non-return valve prevents air from being drawn in.
