Method of preparation of oat glume extract in an aqueous solution, by aqueous or alkaline extraction, and method of preparation of a solid extract by precipitation from an aqueous solution. The present invention also concerns an aqueous solution of an oat glume extract, a solid extract, and their therapeutic and cosmetic uses.
