<p>A method for reacting to disturbance (N) on an uplink frequency (F1) in a mobile communication system which comprises a mobile communication network which includes at least one base station (BS) and a mobile services switching centre, as well as at least one mobile station (MS) which communicates with said base station (BS) on an uplink, i.e. receive, frequency (F1), and on a downlink, i.e. transmit, frequency (F2) of said base station. In order to react advantageously to an uplink disturbance, the following procedure will be followed: a mobile communication network detects said disturbance (N) on an uplink frequency (F1), the mobile communication network informs a mobile station (MS) of said disturbance by using a downlink frequency (F2) and commands the mobile station (MS) to listening mode in which the mobile station stays on the same downlink frequency (F2) and receives information from the base station (BS), the mobile station (MS) shifts to listening mode.</p> |
