A milling and turning machine with a rotating tool feed (1) has a cutting tool (3) which rotates for milling and is held stationary for turning. The tool (3) is carried on a motor driven rotating spindle. A means (5) for holding the tool (3) in a fixed position is provided and the tool (3) has teeth profiled to suit both milling and turning processes.
