The fixing consists of at least one connector (45) with a clearance hole (49) for a screw (47) aligned on a longitudinal axis (48) clamped with a surface (56) in one or more of the components to be joined. A further connector (46) with a length of hole (55) threaded to accept shaft (50) and a surface (57) is clamped inside a further component to be joined. The facing surfaces of the connectors (52, 53) are skewed w.r.t. the longitudinal axis. The head (51) of the screw is tightened against the first connector to pull all the connectors together and fix the components to one another. The connectors can be square in cross-section.
