A radial piston hydrostatic machine having a housing, a rotatable cylinder-barrel (20) having a series of radial cylinders (35) and each cylinder containing a piston (37) which is operatively connected to a surrounding annular track ring (52). The track ring (52) is provided with an eccentric axis to one side of the rotating axis of the cylinder barrel (20) and an abutment member fixed to the housing disposed to the other side, the arc defining the abutment surface of the abutment member being struck from the eccentric axis. The action of the forces of the working pistons under pressure urging the track ring towards the abutment member for substantially reducing the vibration of the track ring without binding of the adjacent bearing surfaces.
