Protection of trees from pest damage

Regeneration of trees damaged by pests comprises: a) producing an extract from crude waste from trees attacked by pests such as moths, scale insects, moulds, rusts, where the wood contains the pests. by immersion in a closed vessel contg. alcohol; b) removing from the bath after 4 weeks, with daily exposure to light and dark; c) subjecting the homoeopathic tincture to two coarse filtrations and one fine filtration; c) adding the ash from the waste; d) increasing the potency of the extract by serial dilution by adding 10 ml of extract to 90ml water to give an extract D1, and repeating the process 5 times to get increasingly dilute (potent) extracts D2-D6; and e) boring two inoculation holes, one finger long, in the trunk, main branches, minor branches or roots at an oblique angle in the tree to be treated, and injecting 1 cc of the same dilution of extract into each hole when needles or leaves appear or when the pests hatch or otherwise reproduce, with extract D1 being used initially and then extracts D2-D6 being used in succession. Treatment is carried out every 2-3 years.
