The present invention provides the fumarate salt of 4-(diethyl-3-(1-methyloctyl)-7, 8, 9, 10-tetrahydro-6, 6, 9-trimethyl-6H-dibenzo[b, d]pyran-1-ol, 4-diethyl-amino)butyric acid ester, i.e. the compound having structure (I) and methods of treatment, particularly treatment of glaucoma, and pharmaceutical compositions that utilize or comprise the fumarate salt (I).
