Retrospective fitting kit for electricity meter

The kit consists of a miniature yoke light barrier (2) which is adjusted centrally wrt. the null setting cam (6) on the meter's (1) disc axle (7) and fixed. The light barrier is fixed in place via a snap-in yoke (5). The light barrier's receiver is in the form of a phototransistor, pref. a Darlington phototransistor. The transmitting power is supplied via the meter's voltage path. The output of the circuit can be fed into a computer.
