An electronic module has a main housing (4) with a number of different electrical and electronic devices (5) mounted on it. The top section supports a circuit plate (1, 1a) that has a flexible hinge section (1c). One half of the circuit plate is fixed to a carrier frame (2). The frame has spring elements (10) and torsion latching elements (12). The carrier frame and circuit can be folded over onto the base unit. The carrier is of plastic.
