<p>The invention relates to a phase-locked loop and a method for controlling a phase-locked loop which comprises a phase comparator (12), a charge pump (13), a loop filter (14) and a voltage-controlled oscillator (15), in which method the loop is provided with information on the measurement result of external temperature. In order to minimize the lock-in time of the phase-locked loop due to variations in external temperature, the output signal of the charge pump (13) is controlled in the method of the invention by external temperature and the frequency being monitored.</p> |
