摘要 <p>A hybrid vehicle uses an IC engine or an electric motor, plus an auto gearbox and drive shaft. A first estimation of the drive shaft torque is made, followed by a second estimation using a different method. The two estimates are compared and the actual torque is then deduced, using a learning and correcting procedure. The first estimate is made using the characteristics of the torque converter and the drive shaft. The second estimate uses signals from vehicle weight and acceleration sensors. The learning and correcting process supplies a control angle signal or a signal for road conditions, or both.</p>
