Plastic bowling pin with polyamide shell and polypropylene-glass fibre core

Plastic bowling pin for bowling alleys has a cellular and/or porous core surrounded by a tough material and a central blind hole located centrally in the base. The hole is formed over at least part of its length by a tough plastic insert (6), e.g. of polyamide, which has a form-fitting connection to the core material (11) and is closed at the top by the core material. The insert has external projections, pref. of sawtooth shape, extending downwards and has a hollow cylindrical shape. The core material pref. contains 20-40% glass fibres.
