Emergency roller lifting mechanism for sheet=feed table

The roller pivots on a transverse spindle (9) above the table feeding the sheets to a processing machine and in synchronism with the latter's working strokes. On the spindle is a dog (20), which has free angular movement. This movement is equal to the reciprocating movements in synchronism with the machine strokes in a guide (21) incorporated in a setting component (14). The latter turns on the spindle axis, and is movable against spring action (17) of a stop and through an angle greater than that of the free angular movement. The spring can be arranged to act between a fixed point on the machine frame and an eccentric one on the component.
