PURPOSE:To materialize the embodiment of coping with the change, of board with, and reciprocating a brush roll in the right and left direction of a board, automatically following the right and left meander, of a board, by the use of a small-sized driver, in a brush roll machine which polishes a metallic strip pass line running in longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A brush roll machine is so arranged that the operation of the driver 6 of a brush roll stand can be controlled, so that brush roll stand 1 equipped with a brush roll 2 and capable of right and left reciprocation may reciprocate right and left at the specified stroke, according to the width of a board, and so that the stroke may follow the right and left meander of the board, based on the detected phase of the light board end and the left board end of a metallic pass line by a television or other detectors D1 and D2 and the detected shift position of the brush roll stand by a detector D3 such as a transducer, etc. |
