PURPOSE:To prevent a high rigid rubber sheet material from springing out from a conveying apparatus, by lowering the rigidity of high rigid rubber sheet material by giving a number of cuts and supplying it to a rubber sheet conveying apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A lot of straight grooves 10 are formed by means of a blade 9 of a scratching roller 8 on the surface of a high rigid rubber sheet material 3 and after the surface is coated with a releasing agent in a bath 16, the sheet material is fed to bars 18 through a guide roller 20. In this case, while pressing rollers 21 presses and fixes the high rigid rubber sheet material 3 on a bar 18, the bar is forwarded and at the same time the rubber sheet material 3 is fed at a speed higher than the advancing speed of the bar 18. As the rubber sheet material 3 is fed at the speed higher than the advancing speed of the bar 18, the rubber sheet material 3 is successively stored between the guide roller 20 and the bar 18 and the press rollers 21. However, as the rigidity of the rubber sheet material 3 is low due to the straight grooves 10, it is hanged down by its dead weight and it does not expand upward. |
