PURPOSE:To obtain a film having a good strength, a good heat sealability and a high transparency. CONSTITUTION:80.0-99.9 pts.wt. high-density polyethylene having a densaty of at least 0.935g/cm<3> is grafted with 0.1-20 pts.wt. styrene compd. selected from the group consisting of styrene, 2-methylstyrene, 4-methylstyrene, alpha- methylstyrene, beta-methylstyrene, 4-vinylanisole, stilbene, indene, and mixtures thereof to prepare polyethylene-styrene graft copolymer, which is formed into a polyethylene-styrene graft copolymer film having a haze lower than 20%. |
