PURPOSE:To surely avoid an accidental explosion of initiator elements due to the operation of an impact sensing sensor during the diagnosis of the initiator elements. CONSTITUTION:At one end of an impact sensing sensor 3 whose the other end is connected with a battery power supply 4, transistors Qd, Qa are closed by diagnosis commands for detonating elements 2d, 2a connected in series with the transistors Qd, Qa, and electric power is supplied to the other end of the impact sensing sensor 3 from a three-terminal regulator 9 which reduces output voltage of the battery power supply 4 to a certain voltage Vcc. If a situation in which the impact sensing sensor 3 connected directly to the initiator is closed while diagnosis current is conducted occurs, a comparator 12 which detects rise of voltage on the other end side of the impact sensing sensor 3 and operates makes the diagnosis commands for the transistors Qd, Qa invalid and makes the transistors Qd, Qa open so as to avoid an accidental explosion of the initiator elements 2d, 2a in advance.
