PURPOSE:To determine a final motion vector from motion vectors extracted, camera by camera, and motion vectors extracted from stereoscopic parallax. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of the two cameras 1 and 2 which are set at a specific vergence angle, image motion vector extraction parts 4 and 5 which extracts motion vectors between specific frames from images obtained in time series by the respective cameras, a stereoscopic parallax extraction part 6 which extracts the stereoscopic parallax between the specific frames, and a means which finds the final motion vector from the motion vectors extracted by the motion vector extraction parts 4 and 5 and the stereoscopic parallel extracted by the stereoscopic parallax extraction part 6. The means which finds the final motion vector consists of a stereoscopic parallax motion vector extraction part 11, conversion parts 9 and 10, comparison parts 7 and 8, and an integration part 12 and finds the final motion vector by converting the motion vectors found from the stereoscopic parallax into the motion vectors of the respective cameras and comparing them. |
