AIRWAY FOR GULLET

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a device which enables the carrying out of a pressurized artificial respiration securing an upper airway by enabling inserting thereof to a lower gullet from an oral cavity easily with no need for insertion into an air tube to close a part which passes through to an esophagus from the lower gullet while an oral part of pharynx is sealed firmly. CONSTITUTION:This device is made up of a tube 1 for an airway having an opening 2 cut askew at the tip thereof and a balloon 3 which is joined on the periphery of the opening 2 and an outer circumferential surface behind and near it and expands in a hemi-spherical shape surrounding an outer circumferential surface near the tip of the tube. A pore 4 is formed on the wall of the tube to serve as a path of a gas with the tip thereof opened into the balloon and a fine tube 5 having a connector 7 attached is connected to the rear end part thereof.
