PURPOSE:To alleviate the torque pulsation of a synchronous motor and to prevent the decrease of its efficiency by controlling the gate of a single phase PWM inverter based on a second voltage command of a deviation from a first voltage command and a carrier having a predetermined peak value. CONSTITUTION:An induced voltage by a self-inductance or self and mutual inductances is calculated by differential circuits 1011-101n based on load current detected values If1-If3 of the respective phases. A second voltage command epsilonv of a deviation from a first voltage command is calculated by an adder 16. The command epsilonv is that in which a current distortion due to its inductance is removed. The gate of a single phase PWM inverter is controlled by a gate control circuit 20 based on the command epsilonv and a carrier having a predetermined peak value. Thus, the influence of the distortion due to the inductance is removed. The torque pulsation generated in a permanent magnet polyphase synchronous motor can be alleviated, and the decrease of its efficiency can be prevented. |
