<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the read speed of a cell from a transmission buffer provided to a transmitter of a terminal station to a link in the multi-link communication network in which plural terminal stations are interconnected by plural links. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter has transmission buffers 16(B1-Bn) equal to total number (n) of links and stores cells received by a terminal equipment to the transmission buffers cyclicly at a speed equal to a link transmission speed in the order of input. When an idle slot is acquired by any link, a cell is read from the transmission buffer 16 cyclicly at a speed equal to a single link transmission speed and given to the idle slot and sent to the link. In other embodiment, when a cell is inputted to the transmission buffer, a received cell is inputted to all buffers and a cell is read from a buffer corresponding to a link having the idle slot is read and sent and the same cell stored in other buffer is aborted.</p> |
