PURPOSE:To provide a synthetic resin polygon mirror having high accuracy which is easily produced at low cost by designing the shape of the polygon mirror to be optimum for the production of a synthetic resin polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:This synthetic resin polygon mirror 10 has plural numbers of reflection faces 11 on the side faces of the polygonal body. A recessed fitting part 12 is formed in center part of the polygonal body without forming a through hole by a conventional method. The recessed fitting part 12 is used as the referential hole to mount the polygon mirror 10 on a scanner motor and to be fitted to a projected part formed in the scanner motor part. Or, a projected fitting part is formed in the center part of the polygon mirror and fitted to a recessed part formed in the scanner motor part. |
