PURPOSE:To instantaneously deal with a new output device in the case introducing a new input device by interpreting the proper conversion rules which are different between the output devices and converting the data based on a conversion rule that is produced from the interpreted rules and a common rule. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate data 101 is produced just by collecting the data to be plotted and unusable to the control of a photoplotter as it is. When the data 101 is outputted by a photoplotter, the data 101 of the converting side and the proper conversion rule data 102 are designated by the operations of a keyboard. Thus a data converter 103 interprets the data 102 at a conversion rule interpreting part 103a and secures the adjustment to the common conversion rule stored in a common conversion rule storage part 103b. Then the converter 103 restores the data 102 into a conversion rule corresponding to the photoplotter. Based on this restored conversion rule, the data 101 is converted into the photoplotter control data. This control data is inputted to the photoplotter, and the data 101 is outputted from the photoplotter. |
