PURPOSE:To provide a multi-room air conditioner in which a dehumidifying operation lowering the indoor air temperature can be conducted. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner comprises motor-driven expansion valves 106a, 106b and outdoor solenoid valves 1a, 1b provided in parallel in an outdoor unit 101, and pressure reducing mechanisms 4a, 4b and indoor solenoid valves 5a, 5b provided in parallel between heat exchangers 2a, 2b for a first room and heat exchangers 3a, 3b for a second room in indoor units 107a, 107b. Further, the conditioner comprises indoor control units 6a, 6b for outputting operation mode signals based on an operation mode to be input by a user are provided, and an outdoor control unit 7 receiving the mode signals from the units 6a, 6b to decide the mode and to output a control signal in the unit 101, thereby performing a dehumidifying operation without lowering the indoor air temperature. |
