PURPOSE:To provide a game machine equipped with a belt type variable display device capable of accurately detecting the position of identification information (pattern) even when it is used for a long time. CONSTITUTION:The belt type variable display device 100 is constituted so that a belt 190 can be hung over among a driving pulley 143 driven by a motor 150, a driven pulley 141 and a tension pulley 136 which supplies tensile force, and also, a position detector 183 (184) which detects an identification information position detecting barometer formed on the belt 190 is fixed by arranging in a gap between the driving pulley 143 and the driven pulley 141. In this way, the passing route of the belt by the tension pulley 136 is not changed even when the belt 190 is extended, and relative position relation between the position detector 183 and the identification information detecting barometer can be kept constant semipermanently, therefore, the position of the identification information can be accurately detected extending over a long period. |
